Allegheny Township Supervisor Mike Korns, Manager Greg Primm, and Police Chief Duane Fisher attended an open house at the Kiski Valley Water Pollution Authority on Saturday, August 27, 2022.  The open house included tours of the plant and remarks by local officials, including KVWPA Chair, Anthony Bione, Authority Manager Dennis Duryea, State Senator Joe Pittman, State Representative Abby Major, and Westmoreland County Commissioner Doug Chew.

The KVWPCA provides provides sewage service to 13 communities in the Kiskiminetas River Valley.  Allegheny Township is their largest community and the plant is located on School Road in the Township.

It was a very informative event that provided excellent networking opportunities.
