Emergency Management

PLANNING TODAY FOR THE EMERGENCY OF TOMORROW

Allegheny Township Emergency Management is a group of educated, experienced, dedicated individuals committed to protecting the lives and property of our community. It is the goal of these individuals to initiate the four stages of emergency management “Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, Recovery”. Each phase is equally important but mitigation and preparedness are the keystones to reducing the actual emergency before it begins. The efforts of the following individuals to achieve these goals and many additional safety related issues demonstrate their commitment to the citizens of Allegheny Township and surrounding communities.

  • Vacant, Emergency Management Coordinator
  • Adam Varrato, Emergency Management Staff
  • Duane Fisher, Police Operations

Training for first responders and for the community is always a priority for emergency management. Through training it is our belief that an emergency can be less severe or possible eliminated. With this philosophy, the emergency management group teaches various safety, medical, and community oriented classes.
