Public Works

Allegheny Township employs a public works superintendent and seven full-time employees. They maintain the Township’s 58 plus miles of roads and are responsible for road construction and maintenance, storm sewer work, street signs, mowing, winter snow and ice removal, general equipment maintenance and parks and recreation facilities. Complaints received by the Township Office are prioritized by the Public Works Superintendent, although emergencies are handled immediately.
