Allegheny Township’s 2026 Fall Clean Up will be held Friday, October 2, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 3, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Township Public Works building located at 1169 School Road, Leechburg, PA 15656.
Residents must present a valid driver’s license upon arrival.
A variety of household items, electronics, appliances, scrap metal, furniture, and other materials will be accepted at no charge. This includes computers and accessories, televisions, printers, cell phones, cameras, radios, stoves, microwaves, washing machines, clothes dryers, and more. Televisions must be whole, intact, and complete.
The following materials will be accepted for a fee:
- Passenger and light truck tires: $4 each off the rim or $5 each on the rim
- 19.5-inch tires: $10 each
- Agricultural and farm tractor tires: $75 each
- Tractor-trailer tires: $20 each off the rim or $21 each on the rim
- Heavy equipment tires: $60 each
- Items containing refrigerant, including refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, and window air-conditioning units: $30 each
Paper may also be recycled throughout the year at the Township Building, Allegheny Township VFC, and Markle VFD. Please do not place cardboard or plastic bags in the paper recycling containers.
